Requirements

• Community College Technical Diploma or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years of estimating experience).
• Proficiency in Bluebeam software is advantageous.
• Basic math or technology skills are beneficial.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet usage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle interactions with sensitivity, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
• Outstanding internal and external customer service abilities.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate 'Material Take Off' items from mechanical and architectural drawings.
• Verify job specifications and requirements with customers.
• Cross-reference products from various manufacturers.
• Prepare timely job bids using Price and other suppliers’ software.
• Manage bid requests from assigned customers in coordination with Sales.
• Assist in delivering quotations to customers via phone, email, and in-person.
• Promote products from represented suppliers.
• Handle phone calls and pricing requests promptly.
