About The Position
Estimator — Heavy Civil (Direct Hire) for Marques General Engineering, Inc. (MGE), a heavy civil / general engineering contractor specializing in public works, wet/dry underground utilities, grading/site work, and commercial projects. This is an individual-contributor role, not a lead or director-level position. Both estimating seats are growth additions to the team.
Requirements
- Heavy civil / general engineering estimating experience
- Individual contributor level experience
- Wet and/or dry underground utility estimating experience
- Grading and paving exposure
- Public and private bid experience
- Greater Sacramento / Roseville commuting range
- U.S. work authorization
Nice To Haves
- Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff
- Experience with subcontractor and supplier procurement
