The Estimator will be responsible for estimating complex and large-scale jobs, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations, and staying abreast of industry developments applicable to estimating. The role ensures the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, exceeding client expectations. This position involves building relationships to understand client, designer, and subcontractor needs, analyzing project documents to prepare estimates, facilitating collaboration, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. The Estimator will also participate in business development, prepare quantity take-offs, understand project scope, perform value engineering and risk analysis, prepare qualifications and assumptions, manage subcontractor solicitation and selection, prepare budgets and GMPs, and ensure quality control of bids and estimates.
