The Estimator will be responsible for estimating complex and large-scale jobs, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations, and staying abreast of industry developments applicable to estimating. The role ensures the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, exceeding client expectations throughout the project duration. This position involves building relationships to understand client, designer, and subcontractor needs, analyzing project documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates, and facilitating collaboration among team members. The Estimator will also participate in business development activities, prepare quantity take-offs, understand the full scope of projects, perform value engineering and risk analysis, prepare qualifications and assumptions, manage subcontractor solicitation and selection, and ensure quality control of bids and estimates. Additionally, the role involves preparing an in-house budget and GMP.
