The Estimator role is an integral first step in the estimating and bidding process and sets the pace for the rest of the project. This role requires an individual who thrives on seeing a project come to life and to completion, is self-driven, detail-oriented, and enjoys the flexibility of managing their day. The ideal candidate appreciates the importance of deadlines, can adapt as needed to meet them, and enjoys solving problems and working with others to come up with solutions. This role involves working with engineers and partnering with contractors and vendors to provide timely insight and consultation.

Requirements

• Familiarity with estimation software, like PlanSwift
• An understanding of waterworks systems

• Bid preparation or related experience

Responsibilities

• Be an integral first step in the estimating and bidding process and setting the pace for the rest of the project.
• Understand project specifications and design plans.
• Work with engineers and partner with contractors and vendors to provide timely insight and consultation.
