About The Position

Service Restoration, Inc. is a property restoration company providing restoration services for water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage. The company is hiring a full-time Estimator for its Construction - Rebuild team. The Estimator coordinates job estimates to support company profitability while ensuring estimates are legitimate for insurance or payment providers and fair to customers. The role assesses jobs, prepares estimates, and coordinates with company staff, subcontractors, vendors, insurance companies, clients, and other parties to support each job’s efficiency and financial viability from start to finish. The Estimator stays in close contact with relevant teams about work performed, supplements, and completion status. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours and weekends. The listed salary is $60,000–$65,000, plus bonuses.

Requirements

Knowledge of construction/rebuilding and restoration basics.
Ability to handle large volumes of job files simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree or equivalent experience is helpful.
One or more years of rebuild-oriented Xactimate experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Make daily phone calls, answer phones, and respond to leads and voicemails.
Produce emails, notes, documents, computer files, and hard-copy files.
Resolve conflicts with distressed parties to find satisfactory solutions.
Enter new customers into the Project Management System and close completed jobs out of the system.
Use Xactimate to create invoices and estimates.
Analyze properties using photos, communications, videos, and MICA.
Create, submit, and present estimates.
Bill customers, clients, and insurance providers.
Facilitate communication between parties.
Handle large volumes of job files simultaneously.
Coordinate with company staff, subcontractors, vendors, insurance companies, clients, and others throughout jobs.
Communicate with relevant teams regarding work performed, supplements, and completion status.
