About The Position

Clean Response, Inc. helps property owners recover after disasters like fire and flood by cleaning, drying, and rebuilding. We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team. This role is crucial for writing estimates using Xactimate for both residential and commercial projects, accurately defining the scope of work, and completing timely estimates in a high-volume setting. The estimator will collaborate with internal and external teams and utilize various software programs including Restoration Manager, Xactware, BambooHR, and Sage Contractor 100.

Requirements

3 years full-charge residential and commercial construction experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean driving and criminal records.
Skilled using Xactimate, Word, and Excel.
Comfortable with technology in general.
Ability to estimate all types of structures that have experienced some form of disaster using Xactimate software.
Ability to handle stress and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to exercise good judgment in making decisions.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, have a sense of urgency to complete projects, and be detailed oriented.
Great communication skills with people.
Must possess values consistent with Company: honesty, integrity, and willingness to work hard.

Nice To Haves

Construction degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Write and support a detailed Scope of Work using Xactimate for repair and reconstruction of residential and commercial projects affected by disaster.
Produce estimates that require insurance and third-party approval while maintaining required profit margins.
Negotiate, settle, and finalize estimates with appropriate parties.
Manage financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, purchasing, and collections.
Produce work orders for sub-contractors and in-house crews and manage these crews.
Process all invoices for submission to the accounting office.
Provide daily reporting and input project progress information into project management software.
Be available for occasional 24-hour emergency work.
Be part of an On-Call team.
