About The Position

Turner Industries Group is looking for an Estimator to join our Estimating team at our Pipe Fabrication Facility in Port Allen, LA. This position will be responsible for coordinating proposal documents, specifications, drawings, and related information, generating material and labor take-offs based on client drawings, specifications, and/or bills of quantity. The role involves computing pricing based on developed take-offs and client data, developing technical and commercial responses in conjunction with QA/QC and contracts departments, and continuing coordination efforts with projects and/or sales groups until the project is awarded. The Estimator will also act as a liaison with the Contracts department regarding relevant bid/award documentation, attend "kick-off" meetings internally and with clients if necessary for awarded projects, and perform additional assignments as required. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and technical skills required in facilitating the execution of projects based on preliminary information only
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
• Must be self-directed and detail oriented
• Proficient in MS Excel

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience, training, and/or education in specified skill
