About The Position

Versa-Tags is looking for an Estimator to join their Customer Support Team. As an Estimator, you will use your product knowledge to provide accurate and timely quotes for customers, covering both stock and custom products. This role requires adaptability, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to support customers and the company. The Estimator will also assist with answering phone calls as part of the Customer Support team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales or equivalent environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain structured focus and productivity for long periods of time.
  • Excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on quality service and professionalism with all customers and coworkers.
  • Active listening capability.
  • Ability to evolve with an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer/keyboard skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes, proofs, and pricing for current and prospective customers based on customer requirements, product specifications, and production capabilities.
  • Quote both catalog and custom products using existing materials and print methods while identifying the best solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and internal team members on special-order materials, pricing, and complex quote requests while maintaining accurate quote documentation and configurations.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding pricing, proofs, material specifications, and product recommendations while building strong customer relationships.
  • Utilize critical thinking and product knowledge to independently manage quotes, apply learned techniques to future opportunities, and take confident, decisive actions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment by learning quickly, adapting to changing priorities, and remaining motivated and organized.
  • Assist with other Customer Support responsibilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
