About The Position

SiteWORX is an award-winning Total Site Development Company located in Lebanon, Ohio, specializing in underground utilities, mass excavation, and concrete. Due to consistent and continued growth, we need to add an Estimator to our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for identifying and seeking out new project opportunities. A key aspect of this role will be completing takeoffs and submitting accurate and compelling bids. You will be expected to possess exceptional customer service and sales skills to successfully sell and close bids. This will involve presenting our company's value proposition and highlighting our strengths. Your ability to build relationships, effectively communicate our value, and negotiate agreements will be instrumental in securing projects and driving business growth.

  • Has passion for the construction industry and the work!
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal, written and non-verbal.
  • Problem Solver: Identify the issue and present solutions.
  • Successfully manage a large workload and meet deadlines.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Associate degree in construction management
  • Proficient at reading blueprints
  • Successful track record of winning bids.
  • Understanding of sales, estimating, scheduling, project buyout
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in performance of Earthwork Takeoffs
  • Experience with estimating and takeoff software.

  • Identify & Research Potential New Customers & Projects
  • Develop & Maintain Customer Relationships
  • Receive and Organize Bid Documents
  • Thorough Examination of Bid Documents & Clear Understanding of Scope of Work
  • Send and follow up RFI’s and develop Customer Relationship through bidding.
  • Perform Accurate Quantity Takeoff
  • Input and develop thorough bid in Company Estimating Software
  • Review & Analysis of Subs & Vendor Quotes to determine appropriateness to scope & specifications.
  • Creative & thoughtful Value Engineering
  • Review Bid with Company Management
  • Submission of proposal in timely & professional manner
  • Follow up and selling of project after bid submission.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and organized project files digitally including correspondence, plans, change orders, job file.
