Requirements

5+ years of experience in construction estimation (building renovation preferred).
Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with ProEST or Autodesk Take Off or other software is a plus).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to Commute: New York, NY (Required)

Responsibilities

Review project documentation, including blueprints, construction plans, contracts, and specifications.
Perform bid takeoffs and prepare formal cost proposals.
Analyze and track key metrics to create precise and competitive estimates.
Research and obtain market pricing to provide clients with accurate rates.
Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of unit prices.
Minimize discrepancies between estimated and actual project costs.
Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to company standards.
Participate in bid reviews and provide valuable insights for project success.
