About The Position

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac has an immediate opening for a full time Body Shop Estimator located at our Ballwin, MO Collision Repair Center. This position will be responsible for all incoming collision repair estimates which will require timely, accurate appraisals and an excellent knowledge of the automotive repair industry. Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record within the last 3 years (DUI/DWI)
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
Must have at least 3 years of recent or current automotive collision estimator experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the Reynolds and Reynolds operating systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Estimate parts and labor to repair damage, using standard automotive labor and parts-cost manuals and knowledge of automotive repair.
Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
Review repair-cost estimates with the Body Shop Manager and complete the necessary insurance and collision repair forms.
Assist to schedule work for the Body Shop technicians and conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
Provide superior customer service to all potential repair orders and sell ELCO's Collision Repair Center's valued service/facilities.
Maintain a positive working relationship with our DRPs and prepare work orders/estimates accordingly.
