About The Position

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an Estimator to join their team. The Estimator will be responsible for creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers, and communicating with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. This role involves accurately assessing vehicle damage, documenting necessary parts for repairs, and working with the team to achieve the repair facility's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The company emphasizes providing an elite infrastructure and supportive environment for employees to excel in collision and glass services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 year of estimating experience in a collision repair environment or a similar role
  • Experience using Mitchell and Qapter
  • Working knowledge of vehicle repair practices and OE guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage a fast paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Write accurate estimates for the damage of vehicle and repairs to be completed.
  • Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process.
  • Ensure ASE is updated accurately with important details from every customer interaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance requirements.
  • Communicate all customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
  • Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team.
  • Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
  • Build customer relationships and apply learning to maximize KPI performance (Sales/ GP/ EBITDA/ BHPD/ NPS, Return Rate, etc.).
