About The Position

The Estimating and Project Management Intern will gain hands-on experience in both the preconstruction and project execution phases of electrical construction. This role provides exposure to cost estimating, project planning, and day-to-day project management activities while working closely with experienced estimators, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. The intern will develop an understanding of construction drawings, industry-standard estimating software, and project documentation practices, while contributing to real projects in a supportive learning environment. This position is designed to build foundational skills in estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, and project coordination, preparing the intern for a future career in electrical construction management. Through this experience, you will build a strong foundation in both technical and professional competencies while gaining insight into potential long-term career paths within the organization and industry.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a program relevant to electrical construction management.
  • Ability to understand construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software is a plus.
  • Understanding of project documentation practices.
  • Willingness to learn and develop foundational skills in estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, and project coordination.
