About The Position

The PRO Sales Department is looking for a key person to join its team. Reporting to the Vice-President of PRO Sales, the Senior Estimator for the export division's main role is to plan, organize, and supervise all activities related to the sale of construction materials and hardware intended for export. This role oversees a team of estimators and ensures the efficiency of estimation and order-taking processes to provide quality service and maximize sales profitability. More specifically, the incumbent will have the following primary responsibilities: Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to achieve established objectives and support the growth of export activities; Supervise, mobilize, and support the team of estimators; Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and business partners in the served regions; Identify customer needs and propose adapted solutions in terms of products, volumes, and deadlines; Optimize sales profitability by ensuring compliance with margins, pricing policies, and financial objectives; Collaborate with internal departments to optimize processes and improve operational performance; Implement practices and procedures that promote efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction; Conduct market research to identify new business and growth opportunities; Monitor and analyze performance indicators under their responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in sales, export, and/or distribution
  • Good knowledge of construction materials and hardware products
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required
