Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working in a spa environment.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must hold a Certificate of completion from recognized esthetic program.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Must meet all city, county and state licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have ability to perform in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel and/or resort is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform spa facial treatment services as outlined in spa treatment protocols.
  • Assist in the attainment of Hotel Polaris and organizational goals through the creation, implementation and on-going development of the Spa’s treatment training program.
  • Quantify success of Spa training program by establishing the highest degree of standards for treatment mastery and through specific measurement of team member comprehension.
  • Demonstrate respect, sensitivity and concern for guest and team member needs in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate high level of guest service.
  • Maintain and monitor work schedules as booked in scheduling software, exercising dependability, fairness and willingness to work with schedule flexibility.
  • Assist the Spa management with staff development projects as required.
  • Practice universal health care protocol while dealing with guests and team members.
  • Maintain all sanitation and HACCP documentation in accordance with Colorado health codes.
  • Participate in all spa treatment and service training programs.
  • Assist guests with at-home care program and products.
  • Attend meetings (including) daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, monthly department meetings.
  • Perform related duties as required.
