LA ViE MD is growing fast and is looking for an inspiring Esthetician to join their team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time. LA ViE MD is a physician-led medspa offering a full range of cosmetic and medical skincare, focusing on patient relationships rather than high volume.

Requirements

• A licensed Esthetician in California.
• Experience working for a plastic surgeon, dermatologist or med spa practice.
• Experienced with HydraFacial, peels, dermaplaning.
• Dependable, prompt, and time-efficient.
• Exudes positive energy and naturally builds connections with others.
• Good sense of social cues.
• Organized and efficient.
• A great communicator who knows how to build trust and keep things moving.
• Curious about skincare and always looking to learn more about ingredients and techniques.
• Track record of being a great team member and have a couple of references that can verify that.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to bring clients with you to transition to full-time faster.
• An esthetician social media account that you are looking to build.
• Willingness to collaborate on creative content and take before/after photos to build the brand.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality skin treatments like HydraFacials, dermaplaning, and biorepeels.
• Getting to know patients, learning their goals, and helping them pick the right products, ingredients, and routines.
• Provide patients with excellent service, addressing their needs and ensuring a great patient experience.
• Greet patients upon arrival whenever possible and escort patients to the exam room to ease their concerns, any nervousness and help them feel welcome.
• Earn patients' trust, advising them on skincare products, ingredients and proper use. Counsel them on dermatologic procedures, diagnoses, outcomes and cosmetic procedures.
• Using the EMR system to document visits and scribe during appointments.
• Keeping treatment rooms organized, clean, and stocked.
• Assisting with cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures with the nurses or Doctor to help patients feel at ease.
• Learning new treatments and best practices.
• Being on time and dependable, arriving 15 minutes early to all scheduled office hours.
