MAIN DUTIES: The Esthetician is responsible for delivering exceptional skincare and body treatments that promote relaxation, wellness, and results-driven outcomes for guests. This role provides personalized, professional services in alignment with spa protocols, brand standards, and luxury hospitality expectations, creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences while supporting overall spa revenue and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Valid Esthetician license as required by state or local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, products, equipment, and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to wellness, cleanliness, and service excellence.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with treatments.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an Esthetician in a luxury spa, resort, or upscale hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional facial, skincare, and body treatments in accordance with established spa protocols, brand standards, and current treatment menus.
  • Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess skin type, concerns, contraindications, and treatment goals to ensure safe and effective services.
  • Customize treatments to meet individual guest needs while delivering a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all spa treatments, products, equipment, and current skincare trends.
  • Recommend, educate, and upsell appropriate treatments, packages, and retail products to enhance guest results and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain treatment rooms, tools, and equipment in a clean, sanitized, and organized condition at all times.
  • Accurately maintain guest treatment records while ensuring confidentiality of all personal and medical information.
  • Communicate spa offerings, promotions, hotel amenities, and wellness programs clearly and professionally to guests.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, product education, and ongoing professional development.
  • Support spa operations by assisting colleagues, special events, and guest recovery efforts as needed.
  • Respond to guest concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring satisfaction and service recovery when required.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
