We are seeking a certified and skilled Esthetician with a genuine passion for the beauty industry, entrusted with providing personalized skincare and beauty services through exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, have an eye for detail and an extensive knowledge of luxury beauty products, and play a critical role in creating a personalized customer experience anchored in self-care. Reporting to the Experience Manager, the Esthetician will build genuine connections with our valued clientele, helping them discover and embrace their individual beauty. Requirements

  • Valid esthetician licence from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience as an esthetician, preferably in a luxury spa, salon, or high-end beauty environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of skincare principles, techniques, and treatment modalities, with a focus on luxury brands and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual in French and English.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, relationship building/handling, and sales acumen.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming, maintaining a polished and sophisticated appearance.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the luxury beauty market, including emerging trends and customer preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform esthetic procedures such as facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and other beauty treatments, using cutting-edge techniques and high-quality products.
  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess customers’ skincare needs, concerns, and goals, employing empathy and self-awareness to provide personalized recommendations on suitable treatments and products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of luxury skincare and beauty products, and effectively educate customers on their features, benefits, and proper usage to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Build trusted customer relationships by maintaining self-awareness, providing exceptional and consistent service, offering follow-up recommendations and establishing personalized skincare regimens to foster long-term client loyalty.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services during treatments and consultations, enhancing customer experience and driving sales.
  • Efficiently manage appointments, ensuring that all customers receive timely and exceptional service while maintaining a smooth workflow throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with fellow estheticians, beauty advisors, and other team members to create a cohesive, accountable, and positive work environment, sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices to collectively achieve department goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent our luxury beauty retailer with pride and professionalism by embodying the brand’s values, authenticity, and aesthetic through personal grooming and style.
  • Act as a brand ambassador both in-store and online, leveraging social media platforms to engage with customers and promote our products.
  • Embrace a growth mindset by staying up-to-date with industry developments, attending product trainings, and participating in brand events.
