About The Position

FACE FOUNDRIÉ is seeking an Esthetician/Operations Manager to lead and inspire their esthetics team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people leadership, operations, and guest experience, while also performing services on set days. The goal is to build a strong esthetics team, foster a positive culture, and ensure every guest experience aligns with FACE FOUNDRIÉ's standards of efficiency, approachability, and excellence. FACE FOUNDRIÉ is a fast-growing facial bar specializing in facials, lashes, brows, and skincare, aiming to set a new standard in the skincare services industry with a vision for national expansion.

Requirements

  • California Esthetics License (required)
  • High school or equivalent education (required)
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends (required)
  • Comfortable with digital systems (Boulevard, Gsuite, training platforms, Google Drive)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team
  • A passion for skincare, service excellence, and people development
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly (stocking, inventory, light equipment setup)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern, high-volume environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of leadership or management experience strongly preferred
  • Hospitality or high-touch customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, coach, and develop the esthetics team to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Build a positive, feel-good, and inclusive environment.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, communication, and client care.
  • Celebrate wins, build confidence, and cultivate a culture of kindness and accountability.
  • Create and manage esthetician schedules, coverage, and performance using Boulevard.
  • Provide coverage when needed.
  • Partner with ownership on hiring, onboarding, and inventory management.
  • Ensure safety, sanitation, and service excellence at all times.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly task completion by the team.
  • Monitor timekeeping and ensure break compliance.
  • Support Front Bar operations as needed.
  • Monitor all client/staff communication across all systems.
  • Ensure team members are following Employee Handbook Policies.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing education for estheticians on FACE FOUNDRIÉ protocols, products, and retail performance.
  • Facilitate in-store product and service training sessions with vendors and reps.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and skill evaluations.
  • Identify individual development needs and create coaching plans to support growth.
  • Maintain team accountability regarding performance and discipline policies.
  • Perform esthetic services on scheduled service days to support coverage and maintain hands-on expertise.
  • Ensure service consistency and elevated guest experience across the team.
  • Manage guest concerns and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coach the team toward service, retail, and membership goals.
  • Track KPIs including service revenue, retail performance, rebooking, retention, and productivity.
  • Support performance improvement through coaching and accountability.
  • Participate in Weekly Staff Score Meetings.
  • Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives, events, and community engagement.
  • Oversee social media.
