About The Position
Blue Moon Estate Sales of South Orange County specializes in helping individuals and families navigate major life transitions—whether downsizing, relocating, or settling a loved one’s estate. We provide a full-service, compassionate approach to organizing and conducting estate sales, handling every detail with professionalism and care. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-friendly Estate Sale Team Members to assist with the preparation and execution of estate sales. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, have an eye for organization and presentation, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move items (up to 30–50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods
- Flexible availability, especially on weekends
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail, estate sale, or merchandising experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Staging and organizing household items for sale (furniture, décor, kitchenware, collectibles, etc.)
- Research and accurately price items included in the sale
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sale environment
- Greet and assist customers during sale days in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with post-sale breakdown and cleanup as needed
