About The Position

This role involves providing expert legal advice and services related to estate planning, including drafting living trusts, wills, and other estate planning documents. The attorney will work closely with clients nationwide, speak at seminars, and collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive client service. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in any state.
  • Bar registration must be in good standing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in estate planning or probate.
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to engage audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • A full background check, drug screen, internet, and social media search are required for employment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and consult with clients on living trusts and estate plans, mostly by phone with clients nationwide.
  • Meet with prospective clients to design estate plans and offer services.
  • Consult with existing clients over the phone to review and update their estate plans.
  • Speak at live seminars across the country, engaging and educating attendees on estate planning and asset protection.
  • Provide follow-up consultations to seminar attendees to convert leads into clients.
  • Serve as a liaison with Anderson's tax and other planning departments to ensure integrated client services.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Engage in special projects related to client matters involving estate planning, consulting, and research.
  • Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and best practices to provide the highest quality service to clients.
