About The Position

As the Estate Facilities Manager, you will drive the effective management and operation of residential properties and ensure they are maintained to the highest standards. You will use expertise in facilities management, maintenance oversight, and project management to maintain the estate at a high level.

The role oversees daily property operations, manages maintenance requests and repairs, plans and executes improvements or renovations, conducts regular inspections, and maintains property-operation records. The McCollister Estate is a premier property in Southern New Jersey, supported by a small team of dedicated individuals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or facilities management.

Nice To Haves

• Strong supervisory experience, with a focus on leadership in a maintenance context.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and industrial maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Proficiency using an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and plumbing fixtures.
• Proficiency troubleshooting HVAC systems and performing general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
• Manage maintenance requests and coordinate repairs, using knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical work, and mechanical systems.
• Develop and execute project management plans for property improvements or renovations.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of property operations, including schematics, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
