About The Position
Carthage College is looking to hire a part-time Marvel Rivals coach for the Carthage Firebirds Esports program based on experience/preferences/availability. This position will be for the 2026-2027 academic school year and the Marvel Rivals coach will work under coach Robert Xiong within athletics here at Carthage! Carthage Esports is a varsity athletic sport and competes in 7 varsity game titles: Valorant, Super Smash Crews, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Marvel Rivals, and Rocket League in the NECC/WEC.
Requirements
- Experience with Marvel Rivals
- Availability for the 2026-2027 academic school year
- Ability to work under coach Robert Xiong
- Background screening
Responsibilities
- VOD Reviews
- Scheduling Practices/Scrims
- Coaching during gamedays & during LAN events
- Coaching player's individually & team coaching
- Assisting with Recruiting
