Esports Coach - Urbandale High School (26-27 School Year)
About The Position
The Esports Coach at Urbandale High School for the 26-27 school year will be responsible for instructing participants in the fundamental skills, strategy, and training necessary for individual and team success. The role also emphasizes the development of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, self-confidence, and sportsmanship in student-athletes. The coach will implement 'quality' principles and tools to enhance program effectiveness. Employment is on a contract basis determined by sport and season dates, with compensation negotiated between the Urbandale Education Association and the Board of Education. Performance will be evaluated according to Board of Education provisions. The district is committed to non-discrimination in its programs.
Requirements
- Employment as a teacher and/or coach with a valid Iowa Coaching Certificate or Coaching Endorsement.
- Understanding of the UCSD Actions of Excellence.
