About The Position

As an ESP Assembly Technician, you will assemble and test electric submersible pumps (ESP) in a manufacturing environment. This safety-sensitive position emphasizes safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Work primarily takes place in a heated, non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment, where hazards may include moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, and poor ventilation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
Basic proficiency with hand tools and basic computer skills.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
Willingness and ability to perform tasks outside the normal job scope as needed.
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
Must complete work in accordance with safety requirements and consistently engage in required environmental and safety training.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test ESP pumps according to defined work instructions using hand and power tools.
Perform regular testing and inspections to ensure products meet standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Safely operate automated high-pressure and high-voltage testing equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading ESP equipment onto racks and transportation vehicles.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, tools, and fixtures.
Complete work in accordance with safety requirements supporting the company's Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) goals.
Consistently participate in required environmental and safety training.
Work overtime and Saturdays as required, and perform tasks outside the normal job scope as needed.
