About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a Spanish-speaking ESOL teacher for a client in Saint Thomas, ON. This is a freelance, part-time position involving 30 total hours of instruction, spread over 15 two-hour sessions. The course is for 15 adult beginner Spanish speakers who need to learn English for integration into an English-speaking environment. The lessons will be held at the students' premises in St. Thomas, ON. The schedule is two lessons per week, on Wednesday and Thursday at 2pm, with a potential for flexibility. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Ability to live within 30 km of St. Thomas, ON.
- Spanish-speaking ability.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to professionals and private students.
- Teach English to 15 adult beginner Spanish speakers.
