ESL Teacher-Summer
About The Position
The ESL Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver EF’s academic program through structured, interactive lessons, while supporting a high level of customer service and student satisfaction. The role is based in Ocala, Florida, for the Summer 2027 program, running July 5 through August 9. Teachers work with young learners participating in a 2–4 week language and activity program. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. The position includes teaching classes every weekday using EF methodology; preparing lessons; managing the classroom; facilitating and marking tests; keeping attendance, records, and paperwork up to date; and attending teacher meetings. Teachers monitor student progress and personal language-learning goals, ensure students follow EF’s behavior code, promptly inform management of issues, and respond to problems and emergencies as needed.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- TEFL certificate or equivalent.
- Complete fluency in English.
- Experience in the field of education.
- Attend training before the contract commences.
- Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

- Support a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
