The ESL Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program. This role involves preparing lessons that accommodate different learning styles, presenting subject matter according to established guidelines, and establishing efficient classroom management procedures. The teacher will also be responsible for evaluating and recording student progress, teaching within the prescribed course of study, and identifying pupil needs. Collaboration with other staff members to address student issues, interpreting educational programs to the community, and planning the work of paraprofessionals are also key aspects of this position. The teacher will participate in the evaluation process and maintain accurate student records. Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required.
