ESL Teacher
About The Position
EF San Diego Language School is seeking dynamic, engaging English language instructors to join our team for the Summer 2026 term. Our summer program begins in late June, with teacher orientation scheduled for the week prior. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse, international student body in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—with the potential for continued employment beyond the summer. We are looking for educators who are energetic, adaptable, and culturally responsive professionals who thrive in interactive classrooms and are passionate about helping students build confidence in English. Our students come from around the world, so openness, curiosity, and strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- ESL certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) required
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship and relocation are not available)
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with international or multicultural student populations is a plus
