About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Exceptional Student Education Teacher Assistant to join their team at The School for Limitless Learning for the 2025-2026 school year. This private school focuses on a play-based curriculum and an inclusive approach for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities. The Teacher Assistant will provide essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children throughout the school year.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• A Florida Staff Credential (one of the following): ----Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), ----Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), ----National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or ----Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
• Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Provide constant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child within the learning center
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families
• Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to promote a positive and cohesive team environment
• Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs
