About The Position

The ESE Program Specialist at East Naples Middle is an instructional support role focused on enhancing educational services for exceptional students. Requirements

• Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education, Reading, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling, Psychology, or select core subject area 6-12 (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies).
• Four years of experience as a special education teacher.
• Experience writing individual educational plans.
• Experience facilitating professional learning.
• Understanding of instructional design.
• Experience utilizing web-based data systems and spreadsheets with a variety of applications of technology.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers and instructional support staff.
• Ability to plan and facilitate a group to achieve desired outcomes in working collectively to implement instructional change.
• Florida Teacher Certification in Exceptional Student Education.
