ESE Preschool Teacher
About The Position
Arc Broward is seeking a passionate ESE Preschool Teacher to join their team. This role involves creating a stimulating, nurturing, fun, safe, and healthy learning environment for children with developmental disabilities. The teacher will provide supervision, care, instruction, and positive engagement, conduct assessments, develop performance summaries and goals, and participate as a member of each child’s educational team to develop and implement IEPs. The position also includes planning and instructing developmentally appropriate lessons and leading the classroom team through training, modeling, mentoring, and instructing.
Requirements
- In-Field Florida teacher’s certificate or letter of eligibility from the Department of Education.
- Experience teaching students with varying exceptionalities.
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
