About The Position

This position is for an ESE Inclusion Teacher at the elementary level. The role requires the candidate to possess or be eligible for a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate and be certified in-field for the position. Specific certification requirements include the appropriate ESE area to match the Course Code Directory and separate subject area content certifications or the Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum, as applicable. All prospective employees must undergo a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting and checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Federal Bureau of Investigation, local law enforcement agencies, and sexual predator/offender registries. Eligibility for employment is determined by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• Currently possess or eligibility to receive a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate.
• Certified in-field for position.
• Certification in appropriate ESE area to match the Course Code Directory and separate subject area content certifications or the Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum, whichever is appropriate.
• Submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04.
• Be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Background check will include fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
