About The Position

First American Title | Cody, Wyoming | Full Time | In Office Are you an experienced Escrow Officer ready to take the next step in your career while continuing to work directly with customers and transactions? First American Title is looking for a hands-on Branch Manager / Escrow Officer to lead our Cody, Wyoming office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced escrow professional who enjoys managing transactions, supporting a team, building strong customer relationships, and helping a branch operate at its best. This is a working leadership position. You will continue to perform production escrow duties while also overseeing the daily operations of the branch, coaching employees, monitoring workflow, and ensuring transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of directly related escrow, title, or real estate transaction experience.
  • 3–5 years of demonstrated leadership, management, team lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of escrow transactions, closing procedures, funding, and disbursement.
  • Experience managing transactions independently as an Escrow Officer.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to balance production responsibilities with branch leadership.
  • A collaborative, hands-on leadership style and a commitment to supporting the local real estate community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential real estate transactions from opening through closing, funding, and disbursement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cody branch.
  • Serve as a trusted neutral third party between buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate professionals, and other transaction partners.
  • Lead, coach, train, and support branch employees.
  • Monitor workflow, employee performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure branch practices and transactions follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Review current processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and the customer experience.
  • Prepare branch reports and support operational reviews or audits.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, real estate professionals, lenders, and internal business partners.
  • Lead by example and help create a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment.
