About The Position

Westminster Title Company, a Toll Brothers company, seeks an experienced Escrow Officer for our operations in Irvine, California. This position is on-site 5 days per week. Escrow Officers are responsible for coordination and communication of all parties to facilitate closings. They handle preparation of all necessary documents in the settlement and ensure all processes are in accordance with local, state, and federal law.

Requirements

Solid knowledge of Escrow Closings of real estate transactions
Experience communicating with all parties to a Builder/ Residential or commercial real estate closing
Proven track record of directing a team of escrow assistants to close high volume while maintaining excellent customer service and a quality and accurate product
Detail Oriented, good time management skills and works well in a team setting
A minimum of 3 years of previous related professional experience
Extensive knowledge of escrow industry practices, laws, and regulations
Has Notary Public Certification

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years work related experience
Escrow certification may be necessary in some states and necessary continuing education and/or seminars to maintain designations

Responsibilities

Communication and coordination with various parties involved in the transactions to facilitate closings
Preparation of closing documents
Disbursement and Post Closing of files
Conduct closings as allowed by local, state, and federal law and local custom
Clearance of title objections if necessary
Other duties as assigned
