About The Position

The PACE LIFE Program Escort is accompanying participants in door through door transportation to the PACE Center, home, medical appointments or other destinations as part of the PACE transportation services. The Escort also assumes responsibility for communication while the van is in motion and reporting any changes observed in the patient's condition to appropriate clinical personnel. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write and speak English required.
Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly required.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Ability to communicate with all staff, vendors, and clients.
Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Ability to use department equipment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual preferred.
BLSHCP required within 60 days from date of hire or transfer.
