About The Position

Copa Health is seeking a Program Coordinator who will make a meaningful impact in our Employment-Related Services Program. As an Employment-Related Services Program Coordinator, you’ll coordinate personalized services, manage intakes and work program placement, collaborate with families and community partners, and connect individuals with essential resources all while fostering inclusion, growth, and community involvement.

Requirements

  • Requires any combination of training, education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the area of social services, special education and/or administration
  • A minimum of two years demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Five years demonstrated responsible administrative experience.
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
  • Valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

  • Substantial experience working with individuals with disabilities (5 years plus preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing and monitoring standards, agency procedures, Federal/State/Local regulations and all other licensing/regulatory agencies as directed.
  • Adhere to current training requirements and applicable accreditation and licensing/regulatory standards and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Health Information Technology for Economic Clinical Health (HITECH) requirements.
  • Ensure continued quality programming during ERS Management absence. Ensure that all necessary reports are completed within given timelines. Maintain a current knowledge of the case records of individuals receiving service.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of administrative tasks to include, but not limited to: payroll, program development, scheduling, program documentation, service authorization, support plan information, time studies, time standards, required documentation as required by DOL and general record keeping related to the department. Attend meetings and actively participate in internal and external committees.
  • Takes the lead in coordinating monitoring and life safety inspections, working closely with the monitoring team before and throughout the inspection process.
  • Ensure that agency procedure, licensing, monitoring, certification, regulatory and networks. accreditation standards related to health and safety are maintained. Be aware of individual’s physical restrictions and medical concerns.
