The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for an ERP expert to fill the ERP Systems Coordinator position. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the ERP system used across Arizona Correctional Industries operations. This role ensures system reliability, data integrity, and user accessibility while supporting production, warehouse, finance, and workforce development functions. Serves as the technical liaison between IT, operations, and external partners, ensuring compliance with state regulations and correctional industry standards. In addition, proactively solves complex ERP and system problems, conducts daily traffic analysis, generates incident/security reports, and implements proactive and reactive computer network defense measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of systems. Requirements

  • ERP systems administration (i.e. Global Shop Solutions, Epicor)
  • Correctional Industries operations (manufacturing, warehouse, workforce development)
  • Database management and reporting tools
  • IT security standards and compliance
  • Broader infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, and virtualization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical staff
  • Training and instructing a diverse group of users
  • Project management
  • Process improvement (Lean, PDCA, STAR frameworks)
  • Advanced troubleshooting, beyond ERP modules
  • Evaluate and test emerging technologies
  • Technical documentation development

  • Translate operational needs into ERP solutions
  • Manage multiple priorities across shops and locations throughout the state

Nice To Haves

  • At least three (3) years of ERP and/or Product Data Management administration experience
  • Familiarity with correctional or government IT compliance standards
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement certification
  • Experience in correctional industries or public sector ERP environments
  • Advanced IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware)

Responsibilities

  • Configures, monitors, and maintains Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules
  • Manages user accounts, roles, and permissions
  • Applies patches and updates
  • Proactively monitors suspicious activities, characterizes incidents, and implements defense measures across ERP and related systems
  • Configures, monitors, and maintains value-added modules such as kiosks, bar code scanners, and e-commerce
  • Ensures data accuracy
  • Develops queries and reports for operational, financial, and compliance needs
  • Supports audits
  • Conducts daily traffic analysis and generates incident/security reports to support system integrity
  • Ensures all shops are compliant with regulations, processes, and required
  • Ensures ERP practices align with state IT security policies, CJIS/ACJIS requirements, and correctional industry regulations
  • Implements proactive and reactive defense measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of systems
  • Collaborates with operations to streamline workflows
  • Integrates ERP with other systems (e.g., inventory, HR, finance)
  • Leads initiatives to develop innovative ERP/IT solutions and processes, introducing unique approaches to integration
  • Provides all levels of support and troubleshooting issues
  • Trains staff and incarcerated workers on ERP functionality
  • Manages complex or sensitive user issues, ensuring customer-centric resolution
  • Drives on State business
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
