About The Position

The ERP Project & Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) ERP platform while integrating it with enterprise data systems and modern cloud technologies. This role blends functional ERP expertise with technical skills in project management, training, and cross-system integration. The analyst partners closely with business stakeholders to improve processes, deliver scalable solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience supporting, enhancing, or implementing Infor SyteLine / CloudSuite Industrial.
  • Strong understanding of SyteLine/CSI modules, configuration, Mongoose forms, IDOs, Dataviews, AES, reporting, and core manufacturing or distribution processes.
  • Experience leading or supporting ERP projects, including requirements gathering, scope documentation, project planning, testing, change control, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical ERP solutions while balancing standard system functionality, process improvement, and long-term supportability.
  • Experience developing user training materials, process documentation, job aids, and role-based ERP guidance.
  • Strong understanding of ERP best practices, data accuracy, transaction ownership, and cross-functional process handoffs.
  • Solid analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across IT and business teams.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, reporting, integrations, or related technical tools used to support ERP operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP upgrade cycles, multi-department implementations, or major process redesign initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Infor ION, reporting tools, Power BI, SQL-based reporting, or other ERP integration and analytics tools.
  • Experience creating training programs or documentation for manufacturing, distribution, finance, purchasing, production, or customer service teams.
  • Knowledge of change management practices, process governance, and methods for reinforcing consistent system adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Infor SyteLine/CSI modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production, and Customer Service.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Develop and maintain SyteLine forms, IDOs, workflows, reports, and customizations.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and system testing to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation.
  • Lead and support ERP implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and optimization projects for Infor SyteLine/CloudSuite Industrial.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting to keep ERP initiatives aligned with business priorities and resource availability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project activities across IT, finance, operations, production, purchasing, sales, and customer service stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements, document scope, manage risks and issues, and support change control for ERP-related initiatives.
  • Partner with business owners to define acceptance criteria, support user testing, validate process changes, and ensure successful adoption of ERP enhancements.
  • Establish a repeatable ERP training framework for new hires, role changes, system updates, and major process changes.
  • Maintain role-based learning materials that clarify correct SyteLine/CSI usage, transaction ownership, and downstream business impact.
  • Champion standardization by identifying where users are bypassing approved workflows or creating inconsistent data practices.
  • Partner with process owners to define, document, and reinforce ERP operating standards across core business functions.
  • Measure training effectiveness through user feedback, recurring support trends, and audit findings, then adjust materials and guidance accordingly.
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT to ensure ERP decisions reflect operational needs, system capabilities, and long-term supportability.
  • Facilitate alignment among process owners when ERP changes affect multiple departments, handoffs, or shared data responsibilities.
  • Translate technical constraints and ERP design choices into clear business language to support timely decisions and realistic expectations.
