About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ERP Manager to lead and support enterprise resource planning (ERP) system operations within a manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership to ensure system stability, optimization, and continuous improvement. The ERP Manager will work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders while guiding a small, capable IT team to support evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering ERP systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of ERP system architecture, database concepts, and system integrations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build, motivate, and guide high-performing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with change management principles and ERP-driven process improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and external ERP service partners
  • Familiarity with Power BI, including data manipulation and report creation
  • Hands-on experience with ERP system migrations or major upgrades
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database querying for reporting purposes

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational requirements into effective ERP solutions
  • Serve as the primary liaison for ERP vendors, including system support and enhancement coordination
  • Supervise, coach, and develop ERP support analysts and SQL developers
  • Drive optimization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives within the ERP platform
  • Oversee ERP system support operations to ensure performance, reliability, and alignment with business goals
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting by working directly with ERP databases and related tools
  • Support organizational change management initiatives tied to business process centralization
  • Manage issue resolution, system enhancements, and end-user support using a collaborative and patient approach
