ERP Product Manager As an ERP Product Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our products fulfill their primary purpose of enabling users to perform tasks that create value for Bayer. You are responsible for setting the strategic vision for the product, ensuring that customer needs are at the center, and aligning team priorities to support business outcomes. Your role involves managing the product backlog to achieve the vision and strategy, requiring a deep understanding of the product domain, technology, and architecture.

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline;
  • Experience in creating strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch;
  • Deep expertise in Enterprise SAP ERP system;
  • Applied Project Management experiences including agile methods;
  • Sound understanding of Product Design methods and processes;
  • Experience in highly Agile/scrum environments;
  • Knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle, Data Management principles, and relevant Service Management aspects;
  • Communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to lead through influence, working in a cross-functional team, and building relationships with engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the business domain relevant to the digital product is desirable;
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis;
  • Customer experience management.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall success of a product throughout its lifecycle, from conception to decommissioning;
  • Identify domain needs, develop and validate product concepts, and build a business case;
  • Oversee the product's build and launch, ensuring product availability, stability, and compliance needs are met;
  • Collaborate with various teams, including product development, marketing, finance, legal, manufacturing, operations, and sales;
  • Drive agile best practices with the team to improve delivery, including continuous planning and co-creating user stories;
  • Provide strategic leadership with full end-to-end ownership for assigned products throughout the entire product lifecycle;
  • Create comprehensive product roadmaps, track and report progress against outcomes, and manage product delivery;
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with product users and stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships;
  • Lead continuous discovery activities to evolve the digital product strategy and enhance business outcomes;
  • Consult management and stakeholders, define and formulate product requirements, and ensure appropriate documentation.
