About The Position

Price Industries Limited, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of air distribution products, is seeking an ERP Implementation Lead for their growing Winnipeg manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary point of contact for ERP deployment at the site, ensuring alignment between corporate ERP strategy and local operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the IFS ERP system
  • Proven experience as a software architect or similar role, with a focus on ERP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including product configuration, bill of materials (BOM), routing, and shop floor control.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of other ERP systems as applied in the manufacturing sector, such as IFS, Infor Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics, would be an asset.
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS), manufacturing execution systems (MES) and product lifecycle management (PLM) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day and performance of the ERP system within the plant, ensuring data integrity, security, and uptime for all manufacturing processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for ERP-related issues on the plant floor, providing expert-level troubleshooting, training, and support across production, inventory, purchasing, and quality control.
  • Act as the plant-level liaison for the corporate ERP team, ensuring local operations comply with corporate-driven system standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Work with plant leadership to analyze workflows and optimize them within the ERP framework, ensuring accurate data entry and integrity aligned with corporate governance standards.
  • Work with reports, dashboards, and analytics developed by the IFS team, ensuring plant users understand how to interpret and apply the information to support operational decisions.
  • Lead local change management efforts for ERP updates and new module rollouts, developing and delivering training programs for plant personnel.
  • Assist site level users with user acceptance training, identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, and propose and implement solutions aligned with corporate strategic goals.
  • Operate as an individual contributor with future responsibility to build and lead a team of local ERP support staff, ensuring scalability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Engineering and Shared Operations Domains, as well as Manufacturing Engineers, Site Leadership, and Corporate ERP teams (Business Analysts) to ensure successful implementation meeting site needs under the corporate standard.
