About The Position

At H&P, our people are our strength. This role involves leading the technical design, development, and deployment of Oracle EBS Finance solutions (R12 and later). The Principal ERP Developer will partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing the development and maintenance of custom extensions, interfaces, conversions, and reports (RICE components), providing technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, and managing system configurations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across Oracle EBS Finance modules. The role also involves collaboration with functional leads to support Oracle EBS Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Subledger Accounting (SLA). Additionally, the developer will lead and support EBS upgrades, patches, and integrations with other enterprise applications, develop and maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with SOX, security, and data governance standards. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Oracle EBS performance, automation, and scalability is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite technical development experience, with at least 5+ years in a lead or senior developer role.
Strong expertise in Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA).
Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, and OA Framework.
Hands-on experience with RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
Proven experience in EBS R12 upgrades, patches, and integrations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
