About The Position

The ERP Data Specialist will be responsible for the input, creation, and maintenance of data within the SAP ERP system. This role involves executing product updates, adjusting Bills of Materials (BOMs), correcting routings, and entering new materials. The specialist will also perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency, support data entry and analysis for ERP and other database systems, and assist various departments including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, R&D, and Accounting/Finance with data-related tasks. Effective communication with these teams is crucial for identifying support needs and implementing solutions. The role also includes identifying and supporting process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency, and adhering to company policies for data security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills for working with multiple departments.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems required.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, TEAMs).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. An associate degree and/or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and/or warehouse inventory systems is preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Power BI and MS Copilot AI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own creation of new SKUs in SAP ERP system, for all material types
• Execute product updates and maintenance including, but not limited to: BOM adjustments, routing corrections, new material entries, etc.
• Adhere to and help maintain SOPs for data processes and protocols.
• Support data entry and analysis for ERP and other database systems
• Support Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, R&D, and Accounting / Finance in data entry, modeling, and reporting
• Communicate effectively with Supply Chain, R&D, and operations teams to identify essential support and carry out productive solutions.
• Identify and support implementing process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow company policies for data security and confidentiality.
