About The Position

CGI Federal has an excellent opportunity for an ERP Business Systems Analyst 3 supporting SOP development, release communications, and quality assurance activities for enterprise financial systems. As an ERP Business Systems Analyst 3, you will lead structured documentation efforts, maintain SOPs across multiple operational functions, produce communications for system changes, and support testing cycles to ensure high quality releases. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on precision, stability, and user readiness. This position is located in Springfield, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph required.
  • 3–5+ years ERP/financial systems functional support or business analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience writing SOPs, process documentation, user instructions, or technical guides.
  • Hands on exposure to ERP testing activities (test scripts, UAT, regression cycles).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Experience in documentation libraries, content management systems, or structured document control processes.
  • Understanding of ERP release cycles, system enhancement workflows, and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Momentum, or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently with strong organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across financial system operations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with established practices.
  • Produce user facing communications, including change notifications, downtime announcements, and release summaries.
  • Create, update, and validate test scripts used for functional and regression testing of system enhancements and patches.
  • Execute testing cycles, document defects, confirm fixes, and support overall release readiness.
  • Partner with Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk staff to ensure SOPs and communications align with support workflows.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of training materials, quick reference guides, and system navigation aids.
  • Support validation of configuration updates, workflow changes, and documentation impacted by new releases.
