About The Position

The ERP Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging business operations and the technical teams that support the organization’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. This role is responsible for understanding business processes across finance, supply chain, operations, and related functions, translating requirements into system capabilities, and ensuring that the ERP platform is optimized to meet organizational goals. The Business Analyst partners closely with stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and architects to deliver enhancements, resolve issues, and support new implementations or upgrades. This position is critical for driving consistent process improvement, user adoption, and overall ERP effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience working with ERP platforms – Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and functional documentation.
  • Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with testing, UAT coordination, and change management activities.
  • 8-12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Willing and able to work from our office in Centennial, CO at least 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 4pm core office hours).

Nice To Haves

  • Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Familiarity with integration concepts (API workflows, middleware, data flows).
  • Knowledge of reporting or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs and gather detailed requirements.
  • Document current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications for technical and development teams.
  • Testing activities and support users in their acceptance testing processes.
  • Support implementation projects, module rollouts, and platform enhancements.
  • Participate in solution design sessions with architects and developers to validate alignment with business needs.
  • Assist with prioritization and backlog management for ERP feature requests and improvements.
  • Develop test cases, scripts, and scenarios for functional testing.
  • Participate in SIT (System Integration Testing) and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet business objectives and comply with internal controls.
  • Support change management activities, including communications and impact assessments.
  • Provide end‑user training, documentation, and guidance for new features or processes.
  • Promote proper ERP usage and drive adoption of new tools/processes.
  • Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams (developers, integration engineers, data teams).
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance processes.
  • Collaborate on integration requirements with surrounding systems and applications.
