About The Position

Serve as the functional bridge between finance operations and enterprise technology, optimizing ERP capabilities, improving financial workflows, and delivering reliable solutions that strengthen reporting, data integrity, and business performance. Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Epicor Kinetic with emphasis on GL, AP/AR, Asset Management, and Cost Accounting. Partner with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, evaluate workflows, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Improve forecasting, month-end close, and other finance processes through workflow optimization, automation, and scalable system enhancements. Use Epicor DMT and SQL to support data migration, upgrades, integrations, validation, and reporting accuracy. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, resolve defects, and ensure system changes meet business requirements before production deployment. Create business requirements, functional and technical specifications, system documentation, change records, and end-user training materials. Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate with IT teams to maintain ERP availability and reliability. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams while clearly presenting recommendations, progress, and solutions to non-technical audiences. Promote continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and prioritizing standard Epicor Kinetic-supported solutions and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Epicor ERP, with Epicor Kinetic experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations, including month-end close and cost accounting processes.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and Epicor Data Management Tool (DMT).
  • Ability to configure ERP functionality around finance business processes and support upgrades and business process integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze manual processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and scalability.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to finance leaders and other non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work locally in the immediate area for this full-time salaried position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Project management experience.
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, Epicor, or related professional certifications.
  • Experience supporting ERP and business technology within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
