About The Position

The ERT performs selected patient care tasks, under the direction of a licensed nurse, to assist in the delivery of patient care. She/he also performs, when necessary, clerical duties and assists the Emergency Center staff in maintaining records and completing reports. He/she coordinates communications between Emergency Center staff, the patient, and interdisciplinary departments. Is accountable for all patient care she/he gives in the Emergency Center.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
Current NC CNA listing
BLS
Excellent communication & organization skills
Diplomacy, tact, and a positive approach to problem solving
Basic Computer And Internet Explorer Skills
Demonstrates Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal
Organizational Skills Are A Must
Must Be Able To Communicate With Patients, Customers, Other Departments, And Staff In An Articulate Manner

Nice To Haves

One year of critical care experience preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Ne Year Experience In Hspital Setting, Preferably Critical Care
AEGIS De Escalation Training within 3 months of Hire
