About The Position

The Emergency Services Technician supports patient care and performs administrative and clinical procedures in collaboration with a team of practitioners. The role helps ensure positive health care outcomes and patient experiences. At Good Samaritan Hospital, the position is based in a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving Puyallup and East Pierce County, with a 24-hour Emergency Department and Level III Trauma services. The role is listed at 0.3 FTE, with varied shifts and 12-hour schedules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current Washington state certification or licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C, or successful completion of an EMT training course.
MA-P or EMT credentials require obtaining NA-R within 180 days of hire.
CNA, NA-R, or EMT credentials require obtaining MA-P by a date determined by the location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations do not require MA-P.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience within the last three years as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute-care setting.

Responsibilities
